Information
With the huge success that has come from the half-a-billion dollar film from James Cameron comes a huge desire for the music behind the movie. The story of Avatar surrounds the world of Pandora, an alien world that resembles that of a Garden of Eden. Humans have come to the planet to extract resources to bring back to Earth. But the native Na’vi aren’t pleased with the new visitors pillaging.
Scored by James Horner of Titanic fame, the CD encapsulates the hypnotic sounds of Pandora’s nature and the Na’vi in tracks like 'Climbing Up Iknimaya (The Path To Heaven)', as well as the clashing of the mechanical human colonists and their impact in ‘War’.
The soundtrack also includes the theme song ‘I See You’ by UK pop singer Leona Lewis. Hopefully you’ve seen this movie, because it’s worth every single bit of the hype and the music’s just as important as any minute detail on a Pandorian tree leaf.
